Chapter 4 - Spending Time With Dad

Spending Time With Dad

Kristen POV

For the first time since I’d revealed to Rob exactly what Rupert had put me through I slept soundly, I didn’t know if it was because we were currently at my parents’ house or simply because I was snuggled into Rob’s body. I could tell we were still on the couch, however for once I didn’t care; all that mattered was whose arms I was in. Stretching out my aching limbs I looked into Rob’s sparkling blue eyes as I realised my hand was still up his t shirt. Smiling sheepishly I went to move it; however Rob got there before I could stilling my movements. Snuggling further into his arms, I kissed his neck gently moving my hand further up his t shirt hitching my leg over his thigh letting out a low moan.

“Kris, we can’t do this here.”

“Why not?”

“Because we’re in your parents’ living room for starters.”

“Oh.”

“I know how you feel sweetheart.”

“You’re too sexy for your own good.”

“How would you like to buy a house close to your parents? Then we could have all the fun we want.”

“I like that idea.”

“Do you want to come with us today and play golf, we could look for houses afterward.”

“How are you feeling today?”

“A little better. I know one thing for definite though.”

“What’s that?”

“I’m pulling out of Snow White & The Huntsman 2.”

“I’ll support you no matter what.”

“It makes my skin crawl the thought of being back there.”

“Then you do what you feel is right sweetheart.”

“I just want to forget.”

“You still think something will happen?”

“Mm.”

“Then we’ll deal with whatever happens.”

“I love you.”

“Love you too.”

“You know, there’s a huge shower upstairs not being used. I heard everyone leave earlier, Dad won’t be back for hours yet.”

“Mm. What did you have in mind?”

“I think you know.”

Before I could process what was happening, I was in Rob’s arms, as he practically ran upstairs. As we reached the bathroom, he set me on the ground, grabbing at the hem of his T-shirt. His arms automatically lifted, as I almost ripped it from his body, not even realising that my own T-Shirt had joined his on the bathroom floor. Fumbling with his jeans, I growled in frustration, my breaths coming out in pants as I felt his warm hands against mine helping me to undo the zipper. Looking into his eyes, I could instantly see the lust and desire written in them. My breath was taken away by how beautiful he was. With my focus momentarily taken away from Rob’s jeans it gave him the perfect opportunity to rid me of the rest of my clothes. Instantly I was brought out of my thoughts removing the remaining barriers pushing my heated core across his hardened member.

“I need you.”

“You have me.”

“Inside me, please.”

“Mm you know I can’t resist when you say please.”

“Good to know.”

Stepping into the hot water, I pulled Rob into the shower with me, wrapping my arms around his neck as I jumped into his arms wrapping my arms around his waist tightly, my heated core directly in line with his member, my nipples hardened instantly, as I pushed myself onto his member my back facing the shower wall. Smiling seductively I felt Rob start to thrust inside me, my hips automatically bucked in response trying to create more friction as I felt my abdomen tighten and my walls tighten around his rock hard member. Resting my head against his shoulder I moaned out loud unable to hide my pleasure any longer.

“Oh...god…so…tight…and…wet for me.”

“Only you make me feel this way. So hot.”

“Ugh…faster. Please, faster.”

“Mm, faster huh you sure?”

“Stop asking questions and fuck me Rob.”

“Your wish my command.”

Biting onto my lip, I buried my head into his shoulder again as his thrusts picked up speed, I could feel the coil in my abdomen tightening and my juices were flowing freely now as the orgasm spiked, he’d definitely hit my G-spot. Just when I thought I couldn’t get any more aroused than I already was, he did something that proved me wrong. We were both panting as I felt myself fall over the edge. As my orgasm reached its peak I felt it spill onto his member as his own orgasm shot through me. Once I thought I was able to string a coherent sentence together I looked into his eyes, still aware than his eyes were filled with desire. That look alone was enough to bring a second orgasm, I could literally feel my walls squeezing his throbbing member, which instantly sent him over the edge once more as he released inside me, one two, three more times before I felt his tense muscles relax.

“That was amazing.”

“Amazing doesn’t cover it sweetheart, it was phenomenal.”

“It’s a good thing we are by ourselves. The sooner we find a house the better.”

“I second that.”

“As much as I don’t want to, we really should start getting ready, the last thing we need is anyone walking in here right now.”

“That sounds like a sensible idea.”

Reluctantly Rob set my back on the shower floor pulling out of me, I whimpered at the loss of contact resting my arms against his chest as I steadied myself, today had started wonderfully, I only hoped that it got better from here. For once I wasn’t worried about anything but hoping we could find the perfect house. Fifteen minutes later, we were showered, washed and changed into fresh clothes in record time. By the time we made it downstairs, my dad was already waiting for us, golf clubs in hands, the knowing look on his face told me we would be on the golf course for a while. Not that I minded, it was rare I got to spend time with my family, I was going to make the most of it while I could.

By the time we reached the golf course, I’d managed to calm myself down. I knew the likelihood of the paparazzi seeing us was inevitable however it still bugged me that my family were photographed just because they wanted to spend time with me. Feeling Rob’s hand in mine, the tension evaporated at his touch. I couldn’t remember the last time that I played golf with my Dad, Taking a deep breath I pulled the golf bag out of the golf caddy. Following my father to the first hole, I started to relax and enjoy myself; for once I was just Kristen instead of Kristen Stewart movie actor.

Half an hour into our game, I noticed Rob was standing off to the side of the golf course, I frowned not understanding why he was standing so far away from me, however it wasn’t long before I got my answer as I spotted the paparazzi across the golf course, continuously snapping away. Suddenly my good mood disappeared and all I wanted to do was leave. Dad must have sensed my mood change as he came over to me, his golf club over his shoulder like a club. I couldn’t help but laugh at the scene in front of me.

“Kris what’s going on?”

“We have company.”

“What? Where?”

“Across the golf course, I didn’t want to bring them here.”

“You’re our daughter; we don’t care about the cameras.”

“Really?”

“Yes, really. Do you want to go?”

“Mm, we can always come back when they’re not around.”

“Sounds like a good idea to me. What would you like to do now?”

“Actually, Rob and I were talking and we decided to go to look for places here.”

“Where will you go in meantime back to LA?”

“I don’t think so. Maybe the Malibu house.”

“When are you leaving?”

“Soon. Rob needs to be in NYC in a couple of weeks and it’s best if we get things ready sooner.”

“Were you planning on leaving straight away?”

“Rob, what do you think?”

“All I care about is keeping you safe and if they found us here, then I think we need to get back.”

“That’s what I thought.”

Taking a deep breath, I tried to calm myself down; it was bad enough that they hounded Rob and I constantly without taking pictures of me whenever I was with my family. Moving quickly, I walked into Rob’s arms, deciding not to care that the paparazzi were busy taking pictures and gawking at us. They’d better get used to the idea that we were together because neither of us were going anywhere. Instantly I relaxed nuzzling my head into Rob’s chest as we walked back toward the golf caddy, within ten minutes we were back at the car, making our way back to my parents’ house.

Malibu

Rob POV

The minute I saw the paparazzi taking photographs of us, I knew Kristen would want to leave, if there’s one thing we hate it’s our families being brought into the limelight. As we drove back to the house, I knew exactly what would happen when we returned, she’d have our suitcases back in the car quicker than I could stop her, Until she mentioned it, I hadn’t thought of the press pitching up tent outside our house, again she was one step ahead of me. As we stopped outside the house, Kristen wasted no time in racing through the front door practically launching the suitcases into the trunk of our rental car.

Slipping into the house, I grabbed the remaining suitcases carrying them out to the rental car, sliding them gently into the trunk, taking a deep breath as I watched Kristen saying goodbye to her parents and brothers, this was the part I always hated, I knew how much she missed her family, I wanted to strangle the media for taking this time away from her. Taking a deep breath, I pushed the anger aside as I made a promise to myself to never let anything like this happen to her again. I was brought out of my thoughts by Kristen linking our hands together. As I looked into her trusting green eyes, I realised just how much I needed her.

“What’s on your mind?”

“Just thinking about things.”

“Anything interesting?”

“Nothing for you to worry about sweetheart, are you ready to go home.”

“More than ready. Hopefully we’ll be able to get to Malibu without being seen.”

“There are ways of not being seen, the media aren’t as clever as they seem to think they are.”

“What did you have in mind?”

“Well, the media will be expecting us to go back to LA,”

“I never thought of that. Maybe if we time it perfectly we can arrive before they cotton on to where we are.”

“Great minds think alike.”

First time for everything.”

“Hey!”

“Only joking. Come on let’s go home.”

Rubbing my thumb over her hand I watched as she relaxed against my shoulder. Scooping her up bridal style I stepped into the back of the car, carefully strapping us both in. I knew Kristen should really be in her own seat; however I couldn’t find it in my heart to let go of her. Taking a deep breath, I looked out of the window as we started to make our way toward the airport, thankfully I’d thought ahead and asked the pilot if he would stay close by in case we decided not to return to LA straight away. By the time we reached the airport, we’d both managed to relax again, something I was grateful for, something told me it was going to be a long few months no matter where we were; my only hope was for Kristen to be happy.

Kristen POV

The minute we were buckled into our seats, I felt the tension leave my body, as much as I love spending time with my family, the last thing I want is the media to follow them around because of me, when my dad explained to me it was worth it because he was spending time with me, I nearly broke down, it was only the knowledge that Rob was standing close by which gave me the courage to stay strong. By the time we were in the air, I’d pushed everything that was bothering me to one side. I’d deal with it later. Taking a deep breath, my head rested against Rob’s shoulder as I felt his hands run through my hair, letting out a contented sigh I didn’t think I could be any happier than I was in this moment.

“I’ve been thinking.”

“What’s on your mind?”

“Well, the plan was to stay at our Malibu house for a few weeks, to throw the paparazzi off, what if we stayed in Malibu for longer, let them think that we’re in LA. We tell family and close friends where we actually are, you know the paparazzi will just make up where we are anyways, at least this way we get our privacy and get to see them make idiots of themselves.”

“Did I tell you lately how much I love the way you think?”

“Not recently.”

“Mm let me correct my error. You’re a genius.”

“Well I wouldn’t go that far. How many times have I supposedly been pregnant this time?”

“I’ve lost count.”

“Rob when do you want to start a family? Have you ever thought about it?”

“I’ve thought about nothing else for the past year and a half, I just didn’t know if you were ready.”

“I’m ready, have been since we wrapped up filming Breaking Dawn.”

“Kris where are you going with this?”

“I want to start a family with you, soon. The sooner the better.”

“What about Cali? You’re due to start filming soon.”

“Starting a family is more important.”

“You’re sure?”

“Positive. We’ve worked none stop for years, isn’t it time that we can just be us. This has been on my mind for a year.”

“Then what are we waiting for?”

“Well we’ve already started.”

“Mm true. What happens if you get pregnant whilst we are doing promos?”

“Then I get sick every morning beforehand, I’m still going to show up.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

We’d been so wrapped up in our conversation, neither of us realised that we had in fact landed. Standing slowly, I grabbed hold of Rob’s hand as we exited the private jet, by the time we’d made it around the other side of the plane our luggage had been unloaded onto a trolley and Rob was getting ready to push it through arrivals getting to our rental car in record time. Just as Rob had suspected, there wasn’t any paparazzi in sight, I couldn’t help but laugh as I realised how disappointed they’d be when we never arrived at LAX like they suspected. My laughter had gained Rob’s attention as his lips met my neck.

“And what may I ask has you so amused?”

“Just imagining the look on their faces when we don’t show up at LAX.”

“Mm it’s about time we managed to get one over on them.”

“There’s a first time for everything.”

“You’re still worried?”

“Mm but I’ve decided to focus on us, not what they say, no one but us knows what goes on in our lives, let them do their worst, the main thing I’m worried about is if Summit make us stay out of the public eye.”

“If that happens, we’ll go out; we’ll just find a way to not be seen. Then when they have their eyes away from us, we let the fans see us together inch by inch until we’re promoting Breaking Dawn Part 2. They won’t run our lives. They don’t own us.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Why are you apologising?”

“I hate what he’s done. I hate that I didn’t see the signs sooner.”

“Hey, hey, hey. This is by no means your fault, you didn’t ask for this. You were doing your job; he’s the one who took advantage.”

“We need to tell your parents, about the engagement, and this mess. I don’t want them to hear about it from the press that’s not fair to them.”

“That’s true. I’ll call them once we get settled in. Have you thought about what you want to wear for the Teen Choice Awards yet?”

“I have a few ideas. I’m thinking blue.”

“Good choice.”

“Somehow I thought you were going to say that.”

By the time we’d finished our conversation we were already outside our Malibu house, I honestly couldn’t remember the last time we’d stayed here but I couldn’t wait to get settled in, especially now, Rob and I had decided to try for our first baby. Sliding out of the car, I rushed to the front door opening it up quickly; relaxing the minute I stepped through the door. After pulling off my Balenciaga biker jacket, tossing my keys and IPhone onto the coffee table. Just as I was about to walk back outside to help Rob unpack, he surprised me by appearing at my side instantly, as my hands wrapped around his waist, giggling as I realised he’d already beaten me to the cases. Taking a deep breath, I felt the most relaxed I had in days, without realising it, we’d arrived at the home which gave me the most peace of mind.

“What are you giggling about?”

“I just decided to help you bring the cases in, then when I turn around to walk outside you’ve already done it all.”

“You need to relax. If bringing everything in does that, then I’ll do it.”

“We should do something before we fly to New York and all the craziness starts.”

“Mm, what did you have in mind?”

“Marcus’s gig, I know it would mean travelling back and forward again, but it could be the last time we get any quiet time for a while.”

“I think that’s a wonderful idea.”

“If we travel at night, the paparazzi will all be asleep, we’d get there unnoticed.”

“You’re a genius.”

“No, I’ve just been thinking about this for a few days.”

“How are you feeling?”

“Better now we’re alone, as much as I love my family, it’s crowded there.”

“As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters.”

“I am happy, I’m engaged to the perfect guy, and we’re going to try and get pregnant, both my dreams are coming true.”

“Are you hungry?”

“Sort of. I guess we should eat, it’s been a long journey.”

“What would you like?”

“Surprise me.”

“How about you go and get a bath and I’ll cook?”

“Sounds like a good idea to me.”

Fifteen minutes later I was settled in a nice hot bubble bath, my tense muscles instantly unknotting as the warm water soothed me. I could smell the food already; however I blocked it from my senses wanting to be completely surprised when I got back downstairs. After washing my hair and body, I stepped out of the bath wrapping a towel around my waist as I let out the water, drying myself off slipping into Rob’s hoody and pants before heading back downstairs to find out what we were going to be eating.

Once I entered the kitchen, the smell of bacon and eggs hit my senses making my mouth water, by the time I was seated Rob had already started to plate it up. I couldn’t understand why I was so hungry when I’d been snacking on and off since we left my parents’ house. The minute the food was in front of me I started to eat almost burning my mouth in the process. My eyes met Rob’s as he stared at me, no doubt wondering where my appetite had appeared from. In five minutes, I’d cleared the plate pushing it aside as his eyes remained on my face.

“You know if you keep staring like that you’ll catch flies.”

“Sorry, I just didn’t expect you to eat that quickly.”

“I was hungrier than I thought.”

“Or it could be something else.”

“Wait, you think?”

“I think so.”

“If I am, you work fast. We only just started talking about it.”

“Would it be a bad thing?”

“No, this is what I want, a family with you. Maybe we should wait a while to take a test, if I start getting sick I promise I’ll take one.”

“Good. Are you finished?”

“Yes, thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”

Walking over to Rob, I wrapped my arms around his waist, resting my head against his chest, taking a deep breath as I focused on all the good we had to look forward to rather than the bad, whatever was going to happen would happen, we’d work through it when it came, I realised that I was just going to drive myself crazy if I let it fester. Feeling Rob’s lips on my forehead it wasn’t long before the long journey caught up with me and my eyes closed, without permission. The next few weeks were important, and I was determined to enjoy them, no matter what happened. We had our future to look forward to, and I had to call Ruth and let her know that I’d be dropping out of Cali. Before I could stop myself, I had fallen asleep in Rob’s arms, another day had passed, and we were one step closer to our perfect little family.
